Galaxy Patrol

Galaxy Patrol is a hack of John Harper's Danger Patrol where players take on the roles of plucky, rebellious heroes resisting the might and oppression of an apparently overwhelming military force (let's be fair, they're probably space-fascists). 

Galaxy Patrol is designed to get players gaming in minutes, with quick character creation (choose a Role and Style, and you're done!) and simple rules.  Galaxy Patrol also offers some twists on the classic DP mechanics, adding  vehicle- and ship-based Talents, Powers, and Bonus Dice, and providing tables for speedy scene and threat generation. 

While classic Danger Patrol provides great science fiction pulp adventure, my gaming group wanted a something a little more tailored to our favorite sci fi media. Hopefully this will help get more groups looking for one-shots or short campaigns to enjoy the Danger Patrol system.

I'll continue to tinker with this game and make improvements as I see the need or as folks offer feedback. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you enjoy it.

Update: May 12, 2021. I've updated the format of the game, fixed several technical errors and typos, and revised some of the rules (e.g., Interludes). It should be a lot easier to read on a computer or e-reader and can be printed easily (use 2-page format if you want to save paper!). Let me know if you thoughts or ideas. Thanks!
